The team suggested sending the documents to Donna Madden and asking her to merge the existing swim instructor and beach manager job descriptions drafted by Tom and Karen into one position for the 2012 swim season. |

2. Swim Program
- Division of labor (P&R vs. Town)
Commission agreed to allow Wildman and Regan to discuss separately given their experiences managing the swim program.
- Set registration date/time
Swim registration set for Tuesday April 10 at 6:00 p.m. at Davis Hall. Session I: 7/9. Session II: 7/23.
Also set date for Easter event for Saturday, April 7 at 10 a.m. at the Emerson gym.
- Determine Lifeguard roster
3. Open Space Discussion
Colby to incorporate objectives identified in the Persons Park, Horse Ring Field and Pond Park plans into the Open Space Plan and send to Conservation. The Commission agreed to focus efforts on three major projects including Persons Park, Pond Park and Derby/Horse Ring Field Renovations in addition to ongoing improvements at the Town Beach and the planning and support of P&R sponsored annual events. The Commission agreed that our submission to the Open Space Plan will reflect our commitment to these core areas. The Commission discussed the need to focus efforts in order to advance key projects that will improve the parks and recreation opportunities for the Town.
